If I wanted to do a forum collaboration project whose permission would I need?
Would anyone be interested in a collaborative mix?
I don?t think there has been anything like this on here in a long time and I think it might be nice to do one. (I know it?s quiet these days)

Any skill level as long as you can mix hardcore.
Vinyl, digital, old, & new would all be welcome. Everyone would get a 1 hour or 30 minute segment depending on how many want to do it.
The order of DJs would be chosen by a random number generator.

Ah, a DJ mix, I thought you meant producing. No matter, were you thinking live or pre-recorded?

Pre-recorded. I would take the last song from a set and send it to the next person to mix into once all the parts are completed I will put them together as one mix.
I would like to have identification for each DJ that plays so that the listener knows who is playing and when it changes. Just something subtle that blends in to the music.
I think it would need a minimum of 4 DJs to take part.

We've done at least 2 mixes with members playing some tracks. I doubt you need to ask for permission and just slap "a mix made by hhc.com members" to make it sound less official.

Sounds interesting. Count me in :). Is everything allowed track selection wise? I'd love to include both new and old also mix in a couple of tracks from other genres, if that's ok.

Anything goes but would like to keep the speed fast. I might add in a drum & bass track myself.

Id do it, but how to do it is a bit confusing.
I saw this done on Brisks group, took forever to get done, and became really ****ing irritating because only the experienced were allowed to do it, those who'd have loved to contribute who have less experience were ignored.
