Since when has Mixcloud put a cap on how many shows you can upload on a free account?
Just noticed a load of my uploads are now hidden due to hitting my upload limit.
I haven’t bothered uploading to the site in a couple of years, mainly due to the poor engagement with Hardcore stuff, amongst other things. I was more of a Soundcloud fan tbh.

They started that almost 3 years ago. Or atleast the discussions about it.
I havent uploaded anything to Mixcloud or Soundcloud for that reason. While my mixes are still listenable on Mixcloud, they are (so far) hidden on Soundcloud.
Why pay when I can host the mixes myself... I just need to get a proper media player working

I stopped using Mixcloud for this very reason, as I pay for SoundCloud already. I think it came into effect late 2022 as my last set uploaded on there was November 22.

Yeah. Not worth it. I have 3 SoundCloud accounts but only pay for one.

I've had to spend as little as possible for the past few years. It's been much cheaper for me to pay for a domain name, and the electric bill isnt that much higher even if I have a computer on 24/7 (compared to not having it on 24/7).
