I know theres a database of songs, but that doesnt really help. Its either the first or last tune of the set. Starts off with a voice saying something like "thres a spring rustling in the trees,, but my heart feels divine. " chick talks for a bit more and enter some dodgy flutes before flying into a proper track.. I know its not much to go on..

That's RMB - Spring for all I know atleast...
...think I've heard 3 diffrent mixes of that track.

It's a german artist, so its pretty easy to find from german secondhand stores. At least you can buy it used from these stores

Also note that the original single was released 1996. But there is a Rmb feat Talla 2xlc "Spring" single witch was released 2003, witch probably isnt the one your after. But you can listen clips from the newer one here, and clips from the RMB "Spring" here, and clips from RMB "Spring The Mixes" here

was there actually a remotely happycore mix? or was that just hixxy speeding it up.? as for rmb - the video for redemtion alwaysy brings me to tears.

No. But the original is the same speed as most hardcore, about 170BPM.
As for the Redemption video, you probably mean Redemption 2.0?
Coz in Redemption theres just some monk's raving, its a good video but i doubt that brings you into tears ;) Redemption 2.0 is the one where the guy "dies" but doesnt know it. He wakes up naked close to the road in the desert type of place, and ppl cant see him. And in the end when he finds other ppl like him, somethings pulling him back, and he wakes up when the paramedics are giving him first aid, and they say "that was probably the longes i've seen, yeah he went for a full minute". Now thats a very good musicvideo :)

the version hixxy played was th eoriginal.. But this difference is in the middle theres some lyrics in the RMB ORIG and also it fades out quick where as th eone on the hixxy tape finishes with beats. So maybe a remix or just a wordless version

It's probably "Straight Mix" (has only vocals in the beginning, except that the words "spring is my love" comes few times in the middle), It's on the b side of the "Spring" vinyl...
