there's a lot of decently priced stuff on amazon.com but many things are not post-able to canada.

amazon.ca doesn't have ANYTHING.

how can i get someone in the US to order something for me, then post it to me for the (probably)... 50$ it would cost.

seriously. is there a legit business out there that can do this?

The reason why i hate and have no respect for software companys:

e.g. Photoshop CS3:

in Finland 1000€
in UK 800€
in US 400€

How the hell that is possibly and how the hell they think i would pay such prices is beyond me.

I should start a busniess that sells US software to finnish companys, i'm 90% sure its against their EULA, but its too bad that an EULA that is not readable before buying doesnt mean shit here, hehe.

i don't think anyone on this site trusts anyone else with that kind amount of money.

altho, people have sold vinyl on here for a long time with FEW problems.

i would have no problem buying photoshop for buddy, based only on the fact that we listen to the same kind of music and use this site.

i know i'm a good person and i wouldn't run off with his cash, but he doesn't know that. i'm sure he'd be reluctant to hand over the cash.

i would be too, except for the mixer and for my situation, i mean.

it just fawkin' sucks. because of an imaginary line (a border) i have to pay 3-400$ extra?
so lame.

I have trusted/"did business" with 2 members of this site that involved a lot of money. One is a moderator and the other administrator, i trust both of them as much as i do my friends. But i would still call them both "exceptions". So yea agree with you on the not really trusting fellow members.

What i'm going to do is that my sister was in US as an exchange student, so i'm going to try to get my sisters "US sister" to help me out. do you have any family in US since id say thats the best choice. If you dont have any, then id still assume you know people that go to US every now and then? Would be a lot easier then using some company (if there even are any) in my opinion.

There are some sites in america that forward stuff to you internationally, just google freight forwards, or US address forwarders or something you'll find a few.

i'll look into the freight forwarding,. thanks silver.

i know that people do that from countries like japan, like, people would by anything for you then send it.

i guess i just didn't know what the name of the service was.

seriously, screw all this border shit. so aggravating...

totally unrelated: when the american dollar dropped a while back, canadians were buying US stuff like mad, including vehicles. there were apparently some car dealerships that refused canadian currency.

again. USA. wtf?
(nothing against americans in general - love 'em)
