Just picked it up today because Ive been a huge fan ever since the first one for xbox. Lemme tell you, its definitely the hardest game I have ever played in my life, and its the bloodiest, and most fun you will ever have killing shit.
If you never played the first one, your going to be absolutely stunned at what you can do, but if you have like me, your going to be glad its back.
PLAY IT!

Lmao, yea they talked about it, but theres no crazy ninja battles galore ;)
I wish there was, that would sure as hell make it 20 times more epic.

hardest game? pffft...I loved the first one and I didn't think it was very difficult; this one seems about the same difficulty. actually maybe a little easier as you have a regenerating life bar.
definitely a fun game...camera can suck in large fights though. the dismemberment & obliteration are what make this game for me.
I'm curious as to what team ninja is going to be like with Itagaki leaving.

Ive never played anything harder to be honest...well atleast an action adventure game.
And this game is definitely not any easier than the last one...the amount of enemies and how they attack you is ****ing ridiculous. But I will agree with you on the camera angle thing...its actually a little more anoying in this game because it always repositions its self when you dont want it to.
About Itagaki leaving...I really dont know. I bet theyre going to try an release a game without him IF he doesnt get bribed to come back, which will probably suck lol.

considering he filed to quit july 1st and is taking tecmo to court...I'm not sure they are going to be on good grounds.
I'm kind of hoping capcom picks him up but we'll see. I'm sure tecmo will try and milk the ninja gaiden & doa franchise though.
I really don't see why people say this game is so difficult. I always thought old nintendo/sega games were more difficult as you couldn't save or only had a certain number of lives....or maybe playing games for nearly 25 years has just warped my idea of hard as I usually like to go back through games and play them on the hardest difficulty =P

Lol truth. Thing you'll notice quite simply in this game is the fact that they completely boosted the difficulty on the average enemy and lowered the difficulty on the level bosses. I find myself having much more trouble with normal enemies than with the ****ing arch fiend they throw at me. I guess thats why Im half way done with it already lol.

yeah the bosses do seem easy...still beautiful looking though. love lobbing off werewolf heads  I like having to search for items & which way to go in a game....seems like a good chunk of games these days are too linear.

i too have been a fan from the first one and ive been waiting for this one. ive only got to play it for ten minutes cause ive been so busy but it looks amazing
but its worth the money if you have it

Yea the game is a little linear...but new comers to the game really wouldnt know to look around corners, and run up walls to find the hidden shit thats lying around that really helps you in the end. Since I beat the first one, I kinda know where there gunna hide shit and what not.
