Ok so i got my results back for my 2nd year of uni today, passed everything except one module (physiology) which i got 39% (40% is a pass btw). absolutely well pissed off and gutted, i knew the lecturer had it in for me!!!

Now i gotta do a re-sit on the 3rd July (i get back from ayia napa on the 2nd and have started my 12 month work placement so now i have to ask them for the day off)

So anyway, how has everyone else done in your exams at college, school, uni or whatever and what do you plan to do next year?

Like i said, im on a 12 month paid placement now as part of my degree, glad to get a break from studying!
Plus it gives me an extra 12 months to become a superstar DJ, MC or producer so that i dont have to get a 'run of the mill' job after uni lol

40% to pass?! That's ridiculous. How can students actually convince themselves they have it tough?

Wow id think myself lucky if i got into Uni lol.
But unlucky mate 1% off id be majorly p*ssed off!

In school i didnt really go for the last year but i did sit one exam which ended up as a Science grade D....And i got 2 G.C.S.E equivalent's of grade D in maths and english that i got at her majesty's pleasure lol

Yeah 40% is a pass, but obviously you want a higher classification than a 3rd. 50%-59% is a 2:2. 60%-69% is a 2:1. and 70% and above is a 1st, and i think over 85% or somehing is to graduate with honours but dont quote me on that 1.

Damn right im pissed off lol, its just the fact that i av to ask for time off work etc, the inconvenience

damn fail by 1 percent fcuk i would be pissed and raging it at the lec lol

im half way through my exam at uni. finish intro earth science, and chem, im not to sure how i went in them but im not so confident with chem as with intro earth science. still have fundamental of math and physic to go :(

thats rediculous. they pass you even if you dont know half the material.
Don;t know what course your doing but in engineering subjects a pass should be 65%+ at least
