Unlucky mate. I know whats its like. I've lost a phone before & as i didn't have my numbers wrote down or anything i lost contact with quite a few people.

i lost my phone which cos £80 and i had it nearly a year. when i lost it i was pissed off but i wasnt overly bothered.. it was scratched tatty had been run over i chewed the glass outa the camera and drpped it i the sea but it still worked.
gutted..

i lost my ****ing phone last night.... well im pretty sure someone stole it! it is crap... luckily i have an aussie sim with most of my old contacts, but not the ones that ive gotten since living in london :( should be able to get most of them back but its still a nuisance! im just gonna get a shit phone now for like 20 quid lol... and worry about getting a new one when i get back home... i defo feel your pain though sixfeet!!! i had a pretty decent phone too

Im sold to sony ericson, since my first cell phone i buy them dont ask me why
I lost my sonny ericson whitch they gave to me with me new contract, cost me 40$ canadian in discount 'cause of the contract. Lost it, has to buy a new one...Guest what? The cheaper was 90$ canadian, and it is even badder than the oone i had :O

I never lose them, always end up breaking them somehow though.
My new Samsung Soul should hopefully last a few months before it breaks.
That being said, get a Samsung D600, it's pretty indestructible, fairly cheap, has a 2mp camera, not to ugly either.

I think the retail price for my phone was like 600€ (~£475), didnt pay anything for it, its a Nokia prototype :P
That being said i would make someone into even more trouble if i lost it. Though its pretty much falling apart by now, but cant afford a new one. Once you get used to a qwerty keyboard, you just cant go back to a regular one :(
