It would probably remain the same but become more fraught, more tense and aggressive.
There would be more car accidents, more fights, more heart attacks, and more stress related illnesses.
Hardcore would be the 'norm' but without the soporific, stupefying banality that we all enjoy at the moment....

actually, here in belgium, our seismometers picked up a small earthquake once caused by a concert of faithless a few kilometers away from their messuring points. Apparently they asked the crowd to start jumping and stomping their feet in unison and the science dudes actually recorded it as an earthquake :p
