What is the future of dj`ing. I mean with all this new tech cd,mp3,final scratch etc what are we going to be using in 10 years time? I purchased a pair of cdj`s and think they are crap i prefer my 1210`s. Im in two minds about selling them but dont want everything to go all cd or that and find i need to purchase another pair cause i think id just give up dj`ing if i had to.
What im getting at is will vinyl be as strong in 10 years time or more?

Can almost guarantee that vinyl will be phased out by then, its a shame really. Iv never even owned or even been on a pair of cdj's for longer than 5 minutes. If i was to get back into djing again i think still i would only use vinyl.

Things ave a habit of goin full circle, history repetin itself. Just look at hardcore 4 instance. The same wil happen with vinyl

I still use vinyl only, but the problem with that is, must of the good tunes in Hardcore nowadays are readily available and easier to get as MP3 only, with Hardcore producers spitting tunes out in America, Australia and Japan etc, i'm considering buring some CDJ's.
The thing you can get easily on vinyl nowdays is all the commercialised hardcore from Junkbox, Essential Platinum and Quosh etc. These labels aren't good enough atm to keep me solely on Vinyl.
Also i'm starting to get into Trance a bit now, listening to Above & Beyond's Trance Around the World recently and thats where the tunes are at!
