I have loads of VHS tapes with various things on & i'm wanting to put them on DVD. The thing i want to know is while recording can the DVD be paused as the things i have on video have adverts & i don't want to put them on DVD aswell.

Could buy a capture card or a dvd recorder... both would allow u to pause

Nice one thanks. I'm looking at DVD recorders & wondered whether i could pause on it or not.
