Love is a very complicated thing , no matter how many people say love at first sight and all that i still believe it takes along time to fall completely in love with someone.
Iv had 2 serious relationships not including my current and they both got completely messed up and i got badly hurt. Getting hurt because of 'love' can make it harder for you to fall in love later on aswell :/
I think love can easily be discovered once uv broken up once and truly feel the pain of what it does to you not speaking to that person. But then theres other things that show love aswell, not being able to go a day without talking to that special person, wanting to be with them 24/7.
If you were in love with someone you would go against all odds to try and be with them.

Agree with you there. Falling in love and being in love are two diffrent things.

to me the problem is that people say they love someone too easily. People forget that it is possible to like someone alot and they get caught up in the moment and think they are in love. I thought id been in love but with hindsight, i know that i wasnt.
but how do i know i wasnt in love if i say ive never been in love? because to me, being in love should mean that even if you break up, you still know that you loved someone.
True love never dies - that is such a true saying, if you truly love someone it will never really go. Im 21, never been in love, ive been in serious relationships and thought i was in love at the time, but to get to the point were you want to marry someone and start a family must be a pretty good feeling! I cant wait

Yes i can! wtf! you cannot know you love someone by looking at them. That doesnt involve their personality at all, and attraction to someone based on appearance is just attraction.
You can't be in love with someone without knowing their personality. Thats ********.

You'd have to be pretty damn shallow to love someone only from looking at them. I know plenty of girls who are really good looking, but are absolute bitches in terms of their personality.

i never once proclaimed that i believe in love at first sight, because i don't, i just highlighted the fact that you can or cant prove that. you have done this before in another topic about tattoos i believe, if something is your opinion state it's an opinion, dont make the comment as though there are no ifs ands or buts about it....
if someone believed they met their soulmate, the love of their life or whatever, and maybe from the moment they met them they felt that way, who are you to say that wasn't the case. i wouldnt take the term too literally.... it could be looked at in the sense that the moment they met they knew something special was going to happen and if that eventuated to love (and they thought it would) well its up to them to interpret whether or not it was or wasn't from the beginning.
i'm jsut trying to highlight the fact that its just another way to look at things and when you make comments like that, it more sounds like you are proving something completely wrong thats all....
