why do you need to play your music so fast?
ever heard of burning out a dancefloor? hardcore is fast enough as it is.

Anyone needing help on doing this to there 1210's let me know, Its easy and takes about 15min a deck,

I can't understand why you would want to play the tracks so fast or so slow as it isn't even what the producer intended any more??

yea but sometimes if your steaming thru a mix on the 1210's that bit extra pitch comes in handy, Ive seen Dj's that use cd'js play tracks at likr 11 or 12% pitch at events, Maked the difference when your playing out,.

i think it's just nice to have access to the extra range.
it may be for other genre's, and just because it can go up to 16% doesn't mean that i'll always have it at +16.
anyway, i was just wondering what else is available. i may end up getting some nicer technics.

no i haven't bobby. i've never actually played out, despite collecting vinyl for over three years now. i was thinking of making the 7 hour drive to seattle sometime, but i never know if there's anything good going on.
sometimes, i think it's fun to play records retardedly fast.
tell me you've never played anything pressed at 33, at 45 and tried to beatmatch just to see if you could.

Don't pitch up hardcore loads, it sounds horrible. :P You don't even need as much as +/-8 for hardcore, the range of track speeds isn't very big.

some older stuff ~93/94 I'll like to have in a modernish set and I'll have to go greater than +8...
