gah... last sunday was a sunday sesh at the walkabout... anyway, its usually a very messy day.... some stupid bitch was really smashed and went on some rampage and just started throwing things on the ground (glasses jugs etc) anyway, one of these things just so happened to land on my foot...
found out the next day that it fractured my toe!!! can barely walk, cant wear a shoe, and had to miss a trip to berlin this weekend because of it...
i am a big drinker..... im not going to go on about this chick being drunk, because i was too... and i honestly drink A LOT so im not trying to be hypocritical. it just really pisses me off when people turn aggressive.... i mean the walkabout doesnt even do glass... all the beer bottles, jugs, pint glasses etc, they are all plastic.... so for it to fracture my toe, well she slammed it pretty damn hard.... i just dont understand.. i drink and i am merry... never aggressive... now i cant do anything for like 3/4 weeks.... no gym, no stomping etc! :o
anyone else had a bad experience like this.... i know people can turn into real wankers on the piss... but i always stick with my mates and we all have fun, talk to people genuinely and dont cause trouble so this really annoys me

One of the reasons that I hate drinking with strangers and never do so except with close friends. People can just turn into complete and total ****s when they're drunk and it's such a pain in the ass to have to be around them. That really sucks though, horrible horrible luck that you got such a serious injury from a plastic bottle... hard to believe that could even happen.

No but i got clouted in Burnley Town Centre for bumpin into someone by accident - sent a bunch of mental patients after him to balance everything out.
What i usually tend to experience is people blag - go into detail and talk shit when they are drunk and you're trying to have a good rave!
Sayin that - that's what i do sometimes too!

I'm with Meph - I hate being drunk around strangers unless I'm with close mates.
Something that I've often pondered though - when your drunk, are you an exaggeration of your true personality or does drink make you someone else?

Does anyone think that Drink lets you speak the truth as you've got more confidence or make you talk s**t & what u say, you don't really mean?

i have wondered that about any drug to be honest. it's a perplexing question that i don't think we'll be getting an answer for anytime soon, bud.

There was a guy in my gym today who was wearing old running shorts, you know the really thin no-need-to-be-so-short shorts, Anyway he was lifting some weights and clearly became over excited (some might say semi aroused) by his achievement.
just no need for that.

I think it depends on the person. I know people who are completely different and who i hate when they're drunk - but on the flip, i know people who are exactly the same as they are normally just more upbeat and funny.
In terms of actually saying things - i think its a bit of both. People are more inclined to talk shit because they don't care if anyone believes them, and it sounds plausible to themselves, but on the flip again, ive also had a number of girls tell me/ do things they didnt have the courage to do sober, and i'd speak to them the next day and find out that they just needed to liquid courage to do/say whatever they did.
You just gotta judge it on an occurance-by-occurance situation.

i would have said plastic tumbler but whenever i say that people ask me what a plastic tumbler is so i just cant be bothered. i dont even know if that is the right term for it. we can call it a plastic pint thing.... i more used the term pint glass to give an idea of the shape of it... it still has quite a heavy base on the bottom like a normal pint glass even though its plastic.... which is think is what landed on my foot.... i didnt say she smashed it, i said she slammed it... i did say she was smashed however :)

end of january.... but.... i cant stop in sydney now because i am making it back in adelaide in time for the big day out..... i'll come to sydney within the yr though!
