Time alone is sometimes really helpful when you feel like that, but sometimes its the opposite!
Write everything out thats bothering you then burn it or rip it up , never tried it but its what my friend does :)

I don't see how ripping up a piece of paper will help... it doesnt really solve anything...
The only way burning it would help is that i get to be pyro and burn something... haha

Loll,
well then probs best to talk to someone either really close to you, or someone you hardly know or have just met, sometimes a person close to you can be supportive and really helpfull, but then sometimes people you've just met offer new solutions and support in a different way :)

going for a drive is also a good way to clear your head. a good drive i know is.
enter royal national park at sutherland
travel through to helensburgh.follow princes highway down to dapto/albion park
go up maquarie pass.
at the top of maquarie pass turn left to go down jamberoo mountain rd - comes out at kiama
drive south through berry (stopping to get some doughnuts - they're beaut) onto the first roundabout at bombaderry.
turn right at roundabbout up kangaroo valley rd i think its called. follow all the way through to bowral and mittagong/moss vale (which ever one it is)
come back along hume highway.
good for 6+ hours.
or another good one which is up your way is putty rd up to singleton. bout 4-5 hours return, have lunch at the pub halfway ;)
take care mate

Listen to some Happy Hardcore, some really Happy one, from the 90s, always helps me. Especially the tune "Field of Dreams - Force & Styles".

Don't hide away from problems.
Only way to get past bad things is to deal with them - prety sure they don't disappear if you do.

you ain't in a wheelchair from what i can see, you're a talented producer... you're still walking and breathing on your own and you're not eating dirt or bathing/shitting in the same water you drink from, so i'd say things are going pretty well for ya.
too true.
I myself have to remind me of this VERY FREQUENTLY :I
if you're caught in a routine then a small break will definetly help.

get over it and move on with your life. face your problems, conquer them, be a better person because of it.

Not to prolong the topic, but that's pretty useless advice to the person facing the problems.

shit sucks sometimes, just do your best to get through it. i know exactly what you're talking about, and i wish i could suggest what to do... but all i can say is just try to deal with it as best you can. the great part about life is that no matter how bad it gets, it'll eventually get better. it could take a long time, but when you do find something that makes you happy, none of this will matter anymore, you'll look back on these times as just a test, something you overcame, and you'll be happy. just give it time and don't do anything stupid!

well, i have ways of dealing with my problems however they'd be turned into a "hate religion" flame war in 2.5 seconds. if andy would like to hear my advice then he could pm me or aim me, then i'd talk about it. other than that, my advice isn't useless, not any more useless than "put on an happy hardcore song init" post.

I think what he meant there was not what yous said, but kinda the way you said it. Very blunt imo. Not that I wanna start an argument or anything ;)
No really, I don't.

andy doesn't really strike me as the guy that wants candy flavored smoke blown up his ass tbh, i kinda get the feeling that he prefers people to be to the point with him over someone "acting" like they care.

orr.... get some baby oil, a box of tissues and jump on to your favourit....gechyo mind outta da gutta foo!
Nah dude, I guess sometimes its good to get away from everything with a few mates who can help you get out of what I call the 'depression spiral', where you isolate yourself from everything and then end up just spiraling down into the blackness. Been there many times and its never healthy.
Its good to get away from the world, get a fresh perspective on things and come back feeling rejuvanated, but for me, its all about who I go with rather than just where.
I guess at the end of the day though, if you're still living and breathing with food in the fridge you've got it better than a lot of people on this planet and yet they find the power to keep on going.
Taking some time out and getting a fresh vibe is good, but being alone can exacerbate the problem and make you feel worse.
Andy, what are you up to this week?

Got me in one. One of the things i despise most is people pussy-footing around. I Can't stand it. Obviously i wanted everyone's opinion on some ways to get my mind off shit, he gave his, and its probably what i would have said to myself, if i could ask myself the question :S

Andy, what are you up to this week?
Yeah i'm trying to break my routine. Instead of waking up and straight into the studio i've been chillin by the pool and trying to get some christmas shopping done. It just sucks that i have some stuff i NEED to finish and by not doing it, im just prolonging it and giving myself a shorter deadline :S
This week? Nothin but christmas shopping and anything i can do to get my mind off the shit that i have no control over... I'll probably get back to music sometime next week though... I'll be up your way on friday, however :)
