I've heard a few Hardcore choons lately with Guitars in. I absolutely hate Guitars & they sound like shite in Hardcore. Why are they all of a sudden being used when they haven't before? & to make things worse there's more & more male vocals. Think it might be time to call it a day with Hardcore. Don't really listen to the new stuff much now anyway.

Sy & Unknown "Clap Your Hands Everybody"
The middle part with the acoustic guitar and the synthesizer gives me goose bumps everytime. Awesome piece of music, other then that minute long part, the tune is pretty bad though.
Anyway i could list you a looooooooooooooooooooooong list of (old hardcore) tunes that use electric guitar (or use sounds that emulate electric guitar), but i'm kinda lazy.
But heres one (not old though):
Agree with you on the male vocals though, not too fond of them. Theres few good ones, but generally prefer the ladies.

They have been cropping up quite a bit lately i dont know why perhaps its the latest craze in hardcore Trancey stuff and Electro stuff is getting boring so lets throw in some guitars. I do like some tracks with guitars, not the cheese mongering Francis Hill attempts but the likes of Guitar Hero (look for DJ Mob's version on youtube - its awesome) i love and will be attempting my own at some point no doubt when this trend has passed, but it wont be a cheesefest! Less cheese more rocking out!!!
*proceeds to rock out*

Guitars in Hardcore is nothing new im afraid guys! They are even older than Trance rifts and where the sound of Rotterdam & New York in the mid 90s! There is no such thing as new Hardcore anymore so we might aswell check these classics out!
Rob Gee I belived liked some kid of rock before discovering Hardcore in the 90s & brought some guitars into it! These tunes where huge in the Dutch Scene and you will here guitars in them!
You will have to wait 2 mins to here the guitar but thsi is classic Rob Gee!
Here is a Dutch tune with some a sick gutar in it! (Ignore the first bit lol) The main rift starts at 1.20
Here is a very early rave tune, Rythem Device- Acid Rock. A sick tune from Belgium whic had some very good tunes in the early days! I can imagine the crowd getting hype to this!

indeed, it certainly makes a change from the stupid amount of dance music aspects that rock steals from dance these days :D

It's not so much when there's some silly little bit with a Guitar sound. It's this newer crap that's sounds like something a band would come up with. There's 4 or 5 on the new Bonkers to explain what i mean better. Just makes me feel I have a very limited amount of music i like & anything commercial like Pop, Hip Hop (Flip Flop) R&B, Rock or Bands with Guitars & anything like that is just unbearable.

well there's no doubt that there are a lot of crappy songs out there, but I'm not sure if your are saying that you hate the sound of the guitar itself, or what artists do you it???
for example, I really hate the violin arrangements in 70's disco songs, it just make me angry, but i love violins, I hate only the WAY they use them in those songs
anywyas, i got a couple of makina treack/songs that has guitar too:
Revolution - Revolution (Guitars)
Dany BPM - Home
3 Axis - The Kid's Aren't Alright (a The Offspring cover)
AND NO. I do not hate these, they're superb!
