Does anyone use this site?
ive started getting into it, but i dont really get the gist of it. it comes across as a hectic racist porn site with 100s of posts every minute..
then i speak to two of my mates (who bum off it) and they come out with these dodgy sayings and jokes and stuff.. How and where does this all come from!!?! all i see is posts by 'anonymous' saying 'n*****' and pictures of 'pedo bear' its impossible to make sence of any of it!
could someone please explain it to me?

yeah it does sound a bit dodgy
its a sort of cult site though..
they basically batter anything that comes in their way and are usually the ones who make the viruses to jam up sites they dislike...
their users have done some proper dodgy stuff.. they picket outside churches of scientology wearing masks completely silent.. they got done on that shitty habbo hotel for going on it and clogging up everywhere so the whole game was put on standstill..
they are just a bunch of bored insane winnits who sit on their pc all day and decide to destroy things other people have put loads of effort into..
just wanted to know a bit more about them..

Its an imageboard, theres probably hundreds of imageboard sites, 4chan is the biggest one.

Haha. It's actually just an image board that has become wildly popular because of the random thread (/b/). At any rate, everyone is "anonymous" because it doesn't log your IP address which allows people to post whatever the hell they want.
There are rules to the other threads, but the random thread can be disgusting, but often amusing.
It's really hit or miss because there are no restrictions on it and it's full of endlessly perpetual inside jokes and bizarre iterations of their own jokes that decay over time to bend into themselves.
It's an interesting example of social interaction on some kind of steroids and leads to dark places frequently. However, it has generated many "memes" which you may be familiar with throughout the internet.
Lolcatz, the raid against Scientology, the fake Motivational posters, and many other things all spawn frequently and repeatedly.
All in all, it's great if you get past the drudge.

TBH the site has become pretty mainstream/boring with a civil war going on between its members (kind of reminds of another related movement  ). Hell, the creator is on TIME Magazine's top people for cyin out loud.
