So today I heard the term Cheesy...referring to one of my mixes that i made
that got me thinking, what other hardcore terms are out there?
I know:
HTID
and
Ch00n
are there any others? and what do they mean?

cheesy isnt limited to hardcore
i had a hard time explaining it to americans when i lived over there - the best i could come up with is that its a british term generally refering to anything that is "sickly sweet" or overdoing the sweet thing
think of a love poem that makes you go..
uuuuuughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

few terms i've learnt.
deck: record player
direct drive: type of deck drive best suited for mixing.
cartlidge: part of the arm that contains the needle.
needle: the part that reads the record/vinyl
slipmat: record shaped sleeve sitting between the rotary disk and record. used for beat matching and cueing and whatnot
trip: a recation to drugs
'E' or 'XTC': Ecstacy
mastering: the final stages of song production whereby a song is altered to sound as complete and proffessional as possible
htid: hardcore til i die, a term associated with hardcore by many people due to the popular franchise created by the htid tours and events.
thc: true hardcore, another popular franchise, closely compared to the active intoxicant found in marrajuanha
fat/sick/bangin: common complements toward mixes or tracks.
label: a label is a company that signs tracks to it's organisation possibly for money. the term label derives from the original label found on vinyl's.
press: to have a track pressed means to have a track pressed onto a record or onto vinyl. nowadays, it's a costly process.
remix: a process whereby a producer remixes someone elses or their own track.
thats all i can think off. ive been drinking since 12 so dont expect the oxford dictionary.
