Also, typing in Capital letters is another way of creating the illusion of being bold.
To summarise, he's probably having a mid-life crisis and desperately wants to be accepted by someone.

To anyone who's not a complete ****ing numpty, it might save you 0.2 seconds to type shorthand, but you look like a genetic failure of a human being. Worth it? Probably not.
If you think it is, then i'd say you fit into that category nicely.
