i think what they were taking the piss out of was not the sick kids themselves but the way we treat them. you should be able to find it somewhere online. and we've got the prime minister "k-rud" "kevin dudd" kevin rudd up on his high horse saying how disgusted he was at the skit. ****in wankers if you don't like it don't watch it.
they do this all the time though, almost every week after the show aired last year they were on the news for something being offencive. bloody great advertisement for the show though, you couldn't miss it if you wanted to

abc here has allot of news and childrens programs during the day, then at night they'll have either british comedy, murder mysterys, documenterys, artsy fartsy crap or a bit of good australian comedy. allot of their good shows get poached by the other networks though. they used to have allot of great stuff like fater ted and faulty towers before other networks poached them.

yeh. these guys got international spotlight (i think) with their APEC stunt where they took "Osama bin Laden" to bush's hotel during lockdown in sydney

i dont think they are being as controversal as chris morris.
cant beat brass eye though, im a massive fan of his and kevin eldon!
i think i prefered the day today over brass eye though..cant belive how much the Jammmm dvds sell for!

hmmm thinking about it i dont really think it can be compared to brass eye, brasseye made up and twisted the news in a spoof sense, whereas the chasers more take the real news just say funny things about it..with a few sketches thrown in based around whatever is current in the news - more like The 11 o Clock show (with ian lee) from years back..

damn I hate that "the secret" BS, I knew a few people that were into it, basically not friends with them anymore, actually I don't think they have any friends because they constantly tried to convert everyone they met.

Before they became popular they did a show called CNNNN, imo incorporates most of their best efforts. This show really did spoof the news, but they still thew in their funnies about what was going on. Sadly, there is a lot that did not make it to dvd release, and afaik remains lost. Half the fun of CNNNN was the newsbar. It meant recording the show was a must, watching once to get content, and a second time to read the newsbar
