so, everybody seems to manage to do it eventually, my wife moreso than most people.
whilst she was pregnant we were at one of the antenatal classes chating with another couple who were about to become parents...
dana proceeded to tell them how she really hopes we can have the baby here in kendal, because
"at lancaster hospital they just treat you like a piece of meat, the wards are dirty and the staff are rude as hell and probably incompetant"
....moments later the couple told us that due to compilications they were having to have their baby at lancaster
*slaps forehead*
so, anyone else had any wonderful open-mouth-insert-foot moments?

Ha if only they were staff at the hospital. Ooo the awkward silence.
I had a few moments like this in my yout so i usually think before i say anything these days, but its great when it happens to other people!

my room mate likes to use the n word quite frequently, and told me that yesterday at work she said it with their new african american employee standing behind her.
that was a foot in mouth situation.

at a thanksgiving everyone at the table had to say what they were thankful for. my brother-in-law was thankful his girlfriend wasn't pregnant...2 weeks later they found out she was and was about a month along =P
