What do you think the weirdest/strangest genre is?
Sound-wise: IDM
Name-wise: Crabcore (metalcore, but the guitarist get down really low during breakdowns, resembling a crab)

my 21year old bro listens to attack attack.he dont like em too much anymore since they switched their "screamer" i guess which he claims.

thats just rock music...i dont hear any difference between that music and any other band who moshes on stage....
named "genres" because of what the persons or persons are doing when they play it is taking music pigeon holing to stupid new levels lol

They did, because their singer wasn't christian enough......such a stupid reason. All these metalcore bands are christians who only accept people who believe in their faith. I just listen cause the music, the lyrics don't really take to me. Other christian bands; UnderOATH, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Norma Jean.
But yeah, now AA! has this singer who isn't that great, but the mosh pits were still insane :]

i love IDM O.o its good yet weird stuff :p
weirdest genre... i'd go for screamo actually :) or minimal... both those (altho i dont mind minimal hehehe) are kinda weird =]
i dont see the point in screamo other then ppl trying to loose their voice :p minimal.. well as the style says a minimal amount of instruments.. few blips nd blops.. clap here kick there.. a little synth string fading in and out.. can be so calming ^^
