Finally had a proper listen. Pretty powerful stuff. There's a few few tunes I don't really like at all, but that's always going to happen because I'm not an out-and-out Freeform head. There are some absolutely sick tracks on here, though and these are my favourites:

I got a question for you Olly. How do you approach track submissions? Do you ask select people to make tracks specifically? Or do you spot tracks and request them? Or a bit of both?

A mixture of stuff, Aryx contacted me out of the blue in late 2009 and sent me 'Chaldea', and some people seem to pop up out of nowhere, then some people who are new like +12V, I actually hunted him down on soundcloud after hearing a very rough version of Usambara and after a few different versions and some mixdown help from Andy Freestyle it was released on Freeformania. A lot of artists are people I go to each time and say have you got any new tracks etc and they 99% of the time send me something or come up with something.
DJ Shimamura's 'Up On High' came about cos I wanted a Shimamura vocal track on there and I hooked him up with Ellie.
I'm ALWAYS up for being sent new stuff, there must be people like Aryx all over the place and they just need a chance to shine. I do get sent a lot of crap though, which results in people being offended because I'm really blunt with feedback.

Will never understand how people intend to get absolutely anywhere if they cant take feedback.
While ago sent a bigger label a very polite message with a track of mine -
The guy didn't think it was top notch, to say the least. I thanked him, discussed what he thought needed to be changed, and now we're doing a collab on it.
Just being polite and willing to listen to other people can get you SO far.
