I think it sounds modern, because of the kick (not a bad thing, just a fact), and to a lesser extent the bass. Nice acid line. You need to finish it if you didn't plan on already. I was expecting a breakdown and it never came! I am half expecting it to break out into some epic piano'ness.

Yeah I've modernised the sounds a bit but tried to keep the feel of everything still. Rather than just smashing stabs over the standard kick and bass. I think I'm quite tempted to go back and finish now. :) Might get on it in the holidays. A piano drop is definitely on the cards too. ;)
