The main riff so far sounds good and I really like the piano, but I think you need to work on your percussion instruments. The kick definately needs to be more punchier and the rest sounds a little bit simple/empty. Keeping the hi-hat in the background might be OK to avoid a too trancy beat, but to my opinion you should point out every second kick as well. Gosh, I don't know correct term for it. You know, where usually claps ore something else are added to create a fake breakbeat feeling.

Thankyou very much for the feedback, It's still work in progress so I'll try a few things, and keep a look out for an update to see how things are sounding :)

It's sounding really nice - the quality is a bit low so it's hard to say with perc etc. Love the piano / breakbeat part. The progression at the intro really had me, works perfect :)

Yeah, agree with the other chaps - piano is lovely. So's the vocal. Nice work mate.

The arrangement of the track is good. And I'm pleased with the vox processing of the track too.
However, the bass is a little too nasal and muddy, try sweetening the bass a little and it'll be a slammer.
Cheers!

to get the bass better.
Saw Layer-Make a bass using mostly Saw Oscs, distort, High Pass at 200Hz, EQ the mids up & take off everything under 200hz
Mid Range Layer- -1 Saw & -2 Square Oscs, keep it clean as possible, eq the mids to make it sound "warm"
Sub Layer- Sine Wave & Squares. EQ everything under 200hz's. Low Pass at 1500hz.
The Lead
make it less "dry"(reverb, delay. http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-dub dub 3) then EQ or HP everything under 150hz,
