Listened to this a couple of times again today man, and I absolutely love it. Breakbeat isn't usually a type of Hardcore that I actively seek out - but this just hits all the right buttons. It's got so much uplifting momentum.
Good luck in the competition mate. Is it a vote-based thing, or will the label decide themselves?

It's a mixture of voting and judging from what I've gathered. Not overly worried about winning and almost certainly won't but was thinking a breakbeat tune would stand out from the crowd a little anyway as the original is a house tune lol..

Yeah, I heard the original a couple of days ago after SwiftKore dished out a Hardcore remix for free (straight 4x4, unlike yours). He did a pretty decent job too! You can have a listen here: http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=59557
The original - I thought it was going to blow me away. It was quality until the drop - which was rather anticlimactic I found :-( Probably why I like yours so much - so much comforting energy in there. Lovely.

I've been producing for a good few years now mate but only started taking it seriously within the past year - got a studio room set up, new computer etc.
Yeah the original isn't really to my taste either but loved the vocals and chords so had to give it a bash. Glad you like it anyways man
