Would that be Fruity Waveshaper? I suppose it could remove some subs depending on the settings you used, but changing them might change the overall sound of the kick, instead of just adding subs, so I would boost with EQ either before or after WaveShaper (try both, see how it sounds), or add a clean sine pluck.

I know how you feel though, but with what Dante said:
you think so?
i suppose it doesn't really matter if it don't sound bang on perfect...i have only been producing for nearly 5 years and i'm only just getting good at it at least i think so anyway (i should also point out i'm using my TV as my screen right now i've got nothing else because i'm redecorating my flat so the majority of my cash is going towards that right now and the main screen for my computer got broken after i tripped over my dog and smashed my head off it lol)
just got a text from my mate who said he'll give me a set of headphones he uses for djing so i suppose it's gonna be better than what i have right now

Sine wave with a quick decay volume envelope, just a pop of bass. Suppose you could add downwards pitch bend as well, if you want.

Great bouncy tune! I imagine that this one would have been played on a Thunderdome CD approx 20 years ago.
