Sup.
I have (as Hardcore Highlights) put together an hour-long mix of tracks that are available on my site. I can't see it happening, but if it proves popular I'll develop it into a series.
If you go to the link below, you can download the mix in 320 MP3 and WAV. You can download all of the tracks individually (all in 320 MP3 and a handful in WAV), and you can also download all 15 unmixed tracks in one .rar file.
01. Nu Foundation - What Did You Say 02. Clear Vu - Never 2 Late (Gammer Remix) 03. Kurt vs Dan Edge & Spin R ft. Rachel R - In Your Head 04. Breeze & Styles - Feel The Power (Technikore Remix) 05. Fracus & Darwin ft. Becca Hossany - Hypnotic (Sunset Mix) 06. Bang! - Follow The Dream (Sparkz Remix) 07. Darren Styles & Gammer - You & I (Rhythmics' Riff Edit) 08. Corona - Rythmn Of The Night (Stylus & AudioJunkie Remix) 09. Spirit Wolf - Falling For You (Dys7 Remix) 10. JB-C - Journey To The Cosmos 11. Rudimental ft. John Newman - Feel The Love (Paul-F Remix) 12. Exhilaration DJs ft. Brianna Shelko - Something Special (Kman Remix) 13. Ranzor - Shining Light 14. Endemic - Hurricane 15. Transcend - Upwards

Cheers Elliot :-)
I was proper 50/50 on it. I'm still sometimes thinking it's shit and sometimes thinking it's quite good. It's a bit catchy, and it's not something like "CnutCore" - that's the main thing!

keeping the mix in WAV is a waste of space if most tracks aren't better than 320KB. If anything, store it as FLAC instead :P

Cheers chaps!
It's not the most exciting of mixes (as you can imagine, coming from me) - but it's really just about the tunes, and showcasing them. And trying to generate a bit of interest in the site. That's all.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. It's more for show than anything. A lot of people just throw up a mix or a track and just a MediaFire link. And since so much is given out for free these days, I need to make the whole thing feel and look as polished as possible. Different download options and qualities etc. Just makes it look like I've made an effort - and may get people interested that may not have been initially.

Erm, I'm not sure I've heard it on a Gabber track. If you find out what it is, let me know - because I'd love to hear a Gabber mix of this!
You probably recognise it because it's a relatively famous tune called Zombie by The Cranberries.

I think I will do another one, yeah. Won't be until the first week of May, though. I'll make it monthly, at most.
The Gabber track? You know what mate, I don't know if I ballsed up massively on those Dropbeat Digital releases. I downloaded a few them from the SoundCloud page, and stuck them on my site. Then about a year later, I saw one of them as a new track on TID. So I thought "Shit, perhaps he accidentally enabled downloads on SoundCloud without thinking and for a year or whatever I've just been giving out these tunes as free!". So I sent him/them a message through SoundCloud and possibly on facebook as well, I can't remember. I explained the situation and asked him what he'd like me to do. I never actually heard back from him. I think I removed them from my site, I can't remember to be honest, I must check.
But yeah, for that reason, I probably won't. Don't want to land myself in the shit. If I include just one track that isn't legit - I'm screwed. It'll give off the impression I'm not careful about what I'm doing, and completely undermine the whole thing!
Funnily enough, I accidentally used the original mix of Fracus & Darwin's Hypnotic when I was recording this - which was actually an official, purchasable release. Had to fcuking re-record the entire thing and include the free Sunset Mix. Agro! lol.
