Bump and a little reminder that I'll be giving away a free track once my facebook page reaches a hundred likes (It's at 82 as I write this).

dig the mix! nice to see you made the jump to traktor scratch! might scoot the soundcard (audio 10?) up a little, looks like it wants to fall =P
interesting setup...made me miss playing on a vestax mixer, haven't seen a pmcpro5 in a while...well anyone using a vextax mixer in a while for that mater =P everyone seems to use or want pioneer stuff here.
never thought of running the audio through a keyboard...if you're ever in the market for a new mixer you might check out the traktor z2, you can switch tracks right from the mixer and switch between vinyl & timecode with the push of a button. I bought a x1 and now hardly use it since I bought the z2 (the x-fader is like butter, floats a little too much for some people's liking)
oh one more thing (ok maybe two), dug the scratching but you might want to move your camera as it was hopping up and down with each movement of your hand. also, why do you put the needle in the second groove for scratching?

Loved it man, nice one. Really, really good tracklist. Not often you see Bring It Back get played - absolutely monstrous track that I've always loved.

It's an audio 6. Really nice soundcard, btw. :)

Hah! Yes, I remember when this thing and 2 turntables was considered the setup!

Thanx for the suggestions. I'm actually looking into a dj controller like the we-go or ergo. something I can take with me and just jam. The keyboard is actually just controlling midi in traktor. made the switch from an older keybaord I had and this one had knobs so I had to try it out and it works like a charm. just not sure about taking out for a gig, which brings it back to considering something like the we-go.

hehe. The recording setup is really nothing special. it's a tinny cannon powershot placed on a box as a stand. :) will try and work that out for the next one. ;)
I sampled my fave scratch record and just slapped it on an audio track a few times and rendered it. I've found that that the samples appearing close to second groove skip less than the the ones close to the edge. Thanx a lot for the feedback, Brian. :D

Thanx, Jay. Aside from starting with "Wizzy" there was no plan for this mix. Just Happened and I kinda liked the outcome as well. :D
