Hi guys, just popped up another new track clip on Soundcloud, hope you like it! I really love the original of this one, and I've never been 100% happy with my old Darts remix (I think maybe I wasn't quite ready to take on a classic track like this at the time) so I wanted to go back and do a better job on it

Thanks for listening, and for any feedback

Yes mate, although this one probably has less of an oldskool influence than some of the others I've been working on... I always thought the original TITN was quite 90's "clubby" and "euro dance" influenced so I've tried to capture a bit of of that with this remix

I'm rubbish at constructive 'production' criticism as i can't produce to save my life.

So I'm afraid 'This is awesome Dave' will have to do!

:-)

ahh no way that's where the original vocals came from! you're a fountain of knowledge, Mr T! it's a pretty good euro track, that is!

cheers guys, I'm always open to production feedback (actually really welcome it if it's constructive!) but it's proper encouraging to know when things hit the spot too

I dunno about technically/production-wise (I know sweet ****-all about all that), but this is one of the best things I've heard from you Dave. Bloody love it!!

Thanks Jay, really enjoying doing this bouncy stuff... it's just proper good fun to make

Mortis - there just isn't enough pizzicato these days is there! I know it was getting rinsed in the late 90's and it probably got over-done, but it's such a cool sound... had another idea for a track called "Samurai Pizza-Cato" (always loved that cartoon!) but at the moment it's just a title... will see if any actual good musical ideas start to form

You're right Darts, the best pizzi I've heard (apart from Insomnia of course) is in Force & Styles' remix of Gotta Believe or maybe Scott Brown's Lost Generation melody - fantastic that is.

I've always wondered how best to describe that sound, and now I know there's an actual technical term for it. Nice one, chaps!

Darts, enjoyed your track man. The only bit i don't like is the 'hands up in the air' acapella.

I always thought Q-Tex "Equazion pt. 9" on Bonkers 4 always did the pizzi thing quite well! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX0S2j91nMY

Thanks for the feedback Reevzy - I kept the "hands up" acapella in there cos it was such a big part of the original track, and it always gets a good reaction from folk when it's played out... think of it as adding a big handful of grated cheese to a sandwich that's already totally loaded with cheese
