What is it in The States with early starts? In the Uk it is unusal for a school to start much before 8.45 am but some might start at 8.30 but college & uni seem to start at 9.00 am or later! I think France have funny starts to their days as well & even have Wednesday off? Thats what I was told anyway...
i believe the reason is that if they started later it'd cause problems with afterschool activities, athletics in particular. since pratice is afterschool, if they started school around 9am, kids wouldnt get out of practice until past 8/9pm? something like that!

usually go to bed around 5, don't have to be to work until 15:30...lately I've been going to bed earlier as I'm still screwed up from going camping and waking up when the sun comes up

Between 11-12, but thats because I got school. In the summer I normally make it a habit of going to bed at like 2 or 3.

like 9 30-11

In the week can be anything between 22:00 and 01:00. On the weekend it could be between 01:00ish and not getting any sleep at all. :p
Used to stay up all hours in the week too but my mrs keeps me in check these days. :(
