Sorry but i know this has all been done before but i was wondering what the outcome would be now. Question is "What year did you get into Hardcore" Please give only one year as i want to add up all the results to see which is the most popular from everyone on this site.
Mine is 1990

1997 .. .. but then i notice you put 1990...so im guessing your talking the ol acid housey warehouse hardcore...which was listening to long before "happy" hardcore, but im not going to put that just because i was listening to all sorts of dance music right from when i started to understand music properly...
so im sticking with 1997

1996
It was a bit before but I never owned any of my own hardcore tapes until then. First tape I got for myself was Bonkers one on release date.

Hard to answer.
Whenever each incarnation of hardcore came around i was there ready and waiting.
So from pre 1990 for the early acid and rave stuff right through to whatever it's called this week.

94 was when I started going out of my way to specifically purchase hardcore & not just random dance collections

1997. Born and raised in a small (but very touristy and superficial) mountain town where I wasn't properly exposed to a lot of different styles of music. But Moonshine was a big thing back then, so Happy 2b Hardcore made it's way to our local record shop...
