Boxing is an artform it's about intelligence and tactics its totally different to UFC you really cant compare the 2......
Anyway i think it will go to points but im hoping Hatton will knock him out in the later rounds, i want my moneys worth!!

I saw Michael Bisping at Bounce Heaven last year, in the hardcore arena lol, he is the only UFC fighter I can watch. UFC can be very boring when they are rolling around on the floor and that, but boxing can be equally boring (i.e heavyweight matches)
My favorite is boxing and I really want Ricky hatton to win!!!!
But Im not sure he will, Pacquiao beat De La Hoya who was unlucky not to beat Mayweather not that long ago and Mayweather did a right job on Hatton.
I dont think hatton would beat De la Hoya, Cotto or Margarito......and Im not sure he will beat pacquiao.
I really want him to and I think his best chance is getting in close and boxing Pacquiao's body like he did against Castillo. I doubt Pacquiao has ever come up against someone who is such a brawler as Hatton is, so it could be very interesting.
I say it will be a points decision

I don't get how people are ignorant enough to say boxers wouldn't stand a chance in the UFC etc
Now, i prefer UFC and any other MMA event over boxing any day of the week, not to say i'd knock boxing or i don't like it, but thats just personal preference. Anyway, when people say 'boxers wouldn't stand a chance in the UFC, they'd get slaughtered' ok fair enough but what if a BJJ(Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) fighter fought in boxing? He'd get beat by the boxer because the boxer's striking/stand up style is far superior to somebody who is an expert on the floor and not as confident striking.
I'll ask you Wilko because you make the claim, i'm guessing if you watch UFC you saw the recent UFC 97 event? Now imagine Thales Leites fighting say Manny Pacquaio in that fight instead of Anderson Silva, if Manny fought as he does, (boxing) with probably no ground experience or grappling, i'm guessing Manny would have stuck on the outside and probably performed equal to or better than Silva did, maybe even knocking him out. Now thats an example where a boxer could beat a UFC fighter who was good enough to be in a title fight, thats saying something.
So to say boxers couldn't hack it in the UFC is true in some respects but look at it the other way around, boxers are no less men than those in the UFC.
